Assessment and therapy services for speech, language, swallowing, fluency and social communication

Individual Speech & Language Assessment & Therapy

  • Assessments vary between one hour and one and a half hours depending on specific needs, including an interview and standardised or informal assessment.
  • Therapy sessions are weekly (usually half an hour, extendable to an hour) or fortnightly.

School-Based Assessments & Therapy

  • Individual assessments and therapy can be requested by the school or parents (after discussion with teaching staff).
  • Meetings with childcare educators, preschool or school teachers and other Allied Health professionals can be arranged.

Preschool Screenings

  • Speech and language screenings conducted at daycare and preschool centres for a small fee.
  • Screening reports provided.

Reports

  • A brief summary report is included with all assessments and reviews.
  • A comprehensive report can also be requested at an additional cost.

Aged Care Services

  • Individual Dysphagia (swallowing) assessment and management
  • Individual Communication assessment and therapy
  • Staff training (in-service)
