As we are aware that the private therapy option can be costly, we strive to keep our prices as low as possible. Our clinicians are registered with most Private Health Funds and are registered with Medicare under the Allied Health Initiative and DVA.

The following funding options may be available for your child:

Private Health Cover

If you have private health, speech pathology services can be rebated under certain ancillary tables of private health funds. Please contact your provider to see if your level of cover entitles you to a rebate and how much they cover.

Medicare: Chronic Disease Management Items (previously the Enhanced Primary Care Plan)

You or your child may be eligible for up to 5 rebated sessions per 12 month period through Medicare. You will need to obtain this from your GP. Your child may be eligible if they have a significant communication impairment that is considered complex and chronic- present for at least 6 months and if they require ongoing care from a multidisciplinary team consisting of their GP or medical practitioner, and at least 2 other health or care providers.

Centrelink Carer’s Allowance

You may be eligible to receive this carer’s payment if your child’s communication disability is significant or your child has a medical condition and your child needs ongoing daily care. This is a fortnightly payment that you can use to supplement costs to meet your child’s needs, such as speech therapy.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We are a registered service provider under NDIS, practising as part of the Home Caring Pty Ltd Consortium.
